When someone wants to confront you on something you ALLEDGEDLY stated, why is it so hard to bring that third person right on in to discuss openly? 
I don't want to be pulled from my already crazy busy job to talk about someone's hurt feelings over someting that isn't even what was stated.
You are the boss, why do you care what your employees think or don't think?  Oh is it because you aren't really the boss?  You are only temporary and are doing everything in your power to PROVE YOU HAVE POWER?  It is rude and disgusting actually. 
We are in a place of business, actually our business is to save lives and your #1 worry is if you are the most liked?  STOP!
If/when I hear that someone has something to say about me or has said something about me I truly don't care unless it is someone that means something to me.  A person that can affect my future personally or in the business world.
Is that so hard to see? 
All along that third person sits back smirking to themselves that they aren't caught or brought in to have to face the truth.  That point alone boils my blood.  If we are as needed as the next, why is one given annonymity over another? 
The more you say to me, the more I realize you have no clue.  Keep speaking to make yourself feel better, it only makes me laugh. 
I will continue to give you the correct amount of respect, but that is only because I am playing the "kill them with kindness game". 
Don't waste your breath trying to make it better after you have already open it up.
And YOU want to be the leader?  Leaders are born, not those who will do whatever everyone wants to be given that one chance to prove that they have something.  You don't so STOP!
I wonder what you do when you are here at 6:00 am - 7:30 pm daily?  What are you looking for?  Who are you trying to take down? 
The sadness your heart must feel because you have to go to these lengths has to be immeasurable. 
I am counting the days until there is a REAL DIRECTOR.  And trust me, the praying that is done is to make sure the CORRECT person for the job is awarded it.  Not the person who is trying to make friends so late in the game.
Go on and take the other job you supposedly have lined up and move on.  We are bored enough.
