Okay, so I have decided to become a 'blogger'. Why you may ask? By blogging once a day. I don't know how to do anything more in this realm. And I could quite possibly bother the holy crap out of anyone who stumbles upon my ramblings.
What is the real point of this blogging business? To read one person's ideas on what is correct? What is not? What is the best way to raise your children? How to save the most money doing this or that?
I will be honest, I love to write and spit out my own ideas and thoughts just to get a response. So, there you have it-the reason I am 'blogging'. Please understand I will not enter the realm of vlogging or anything further because I am so far from that advanced state of interworld connection!
I am intrigued in reading about people's experiences in life. Trips they have taken, because maybe I want to pack up my family and go too. Concerts they have seen, because I am an absolute music nerd. Music is everything to me. I have theme songs for everyone I know and almost every poignant event in my life. Or it could be some revelation they made while standing in line waiting to get their lunch that has to be shoved down their throats in 10 minutes or less.
Nowadays real newspapers-you know the ones printed with blank ink that will rub off on your hand if you are lucky enough to get it directly off the press with the heat of the press still emitting-are going to the internet. I truly dislike this practice. There is nothing better than sitting and reading a newspaper from front to back in a tangible way. Of course, I can read articles online and a lot of times I do, but I have to have the feeling of a real newspaper for my day to be complete.
Does no one else feel this way? I mean people are out for all kinds of causes these days. What about the cause of the Lost Newspaper?
I handwrite letters, as well. Don't gasp. An email thanking someone for something is trash. It has no meaning or thought. But sitting down and writing something out in your handwriting (you can't read mine, but I still do it) shows signs of respect and thoughtfulness for the person.
Maybe it isn't that interesting.....
